At Dowehorged, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our financial education products and services. We understand that circumstances may arise where you need to request a refund. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and returns of our products.

1. Digital Products

Our digital products include downloadable courses, ebooks, worksheets, planners, and online access to educational content.

1.1. 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee

We offer a 14-day satisfaction guarantee for most of our digital products. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 14 days of the purchase date, subject to the following conditions:

  • You must provide a reasonable explanation for your dissatisfaction with the product.
  • You must demonstrate that you have engaged with the material (e.g., completed initial exercises, watched the introductory videos).
  • Your access to the digital product will be revoked upon refund approval.

1.2. Exceptions

The following digital products are non-refundable:

  • Individual downloadable worksheets priced below $15
  • Products clearly marked as "non-refundable" at the time of purchase
  • Products that have been completely downloaded, printed, or where all content has been accessed
  • Bundle packages where a significant portion of the content has been accessed

2. Physical Products

Our physical products include printed workbooks, planners, card decks, and other tangible financial education materials.

2.1. Return Eligibility

You may return physical products within 30 days of delivery for a full refund if:

  • The product is in its original condition, unused, and with all packaging intact
  • You have proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
  • The product is not marked as "non-returnable" or "final sale"

2.2. Return Process

To return a physical product:

  1. Contact our customer service at [email protected] to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
  2. Include your order number, name, and reason for return in your email
  3. Once approved, we will provide return shipping instructions
  4. Return the product in its original packaging with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the package
  5. Ship the return using a trackable shipping service to the address provided

2.3. Shipping Costs

The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to our error (e.g., wrong item sent, defective product). Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

2.4. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective product:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of receiving the product
  2. Provide photos of the damaged item and packaging
  3. We will arrange for a replacement or refund at our expense

3. Subscription Services

For subscription-based services, such as membership programs or recurring content access:

3.1. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by logging into your account or contacting customer service. When you cancel:

  • You will continue to have access to the subscription content until the end of your current billing period
  • No further charges will be made after cancellation
  • No refunds are provided for the current billing period unless specified otherwise

3.2. Refunds for Subscriptions

For monthly subscriptions, we do not offer refunds for the current billing period once it has begun.

For annual subscriptions, a prorated refund may be available if you cancel within 30 days of the start of your annual billing cycle.

4. Workshops and Live Events

For live workshops, webinars, and in-person events:

4.1. Cancellation by Customer

  • Cancellations made 14 or more days before the event date: Full refund or option to transfer to another event
  • Cancellations made 7-13 days before the event date: 50% refund or option to transfer to another event
  • Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event date: No refund, but you may transfer your registration to another person

4.2. Cancellation by Dowehorged

If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another scheduled event.

5. How Refunds Are Processed

Once approved, refunds will be processed as follows:

  • Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the purchase
  • Digital product refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days
  • Physical product refunds are processed within 10-14 business days after we receive the returned item
  • The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment provider and financial institution (typically 5-10 business days)

6. Limitations and Exceptions

We reserve the right to deny refund requests that:

  • Are made outside the specified refund periods
  • Show evidence of fraud or abuse of our refund policy
  • Are for products clearly marked as "non-refundable" or "final sale"
  • Are for products that have been substantially consumed, used, or accessed
